| I had the extreme pleasure of being the head judge at this weekends INBF Monster Mash. What an incredible experience! Nancy Andrews runs a professional, quality show and proves beyond any doubt that she is the face of natural bodybuilding. There was a significant amount of talent and some of the classes were almost too close to judge. I have been around this sport for some time and have seen some amazing performances, but I have to say, Saturday I witnessed one of the most incredible posing routines I have ever seen. There were twin brothers from Boston. They each came out and gave unbelievable performances in their own right. But at the end of one of the brother's routines the other brother came out on stage and mirrored everything the other one did. It really appeared that you were looking in a mirror. They added a nice touch by ending with a hug. WOW!!! It was insane and the roof blew off the place. The judging panel (who has somewhere around 120 years of experience collectively) was floored. These guys should be on TV or in Vegas. They were remarkable. I am always impressed when competitors make the effort and take the time to put together a quality routine. I wish that the routines were scored and counted towards the placings as they are in the pros. I think that more athletes would spend time on their routines and that, in turn, would provide more of an entertaining and exciting night show. Just the thoughts of one man. Thanks all!!!! |
